Free Market Day 2023

For our annual Free Market Day on Thursday, April 28, staff and volunteers from our friends at Constellation Energy set up shop in our Fallsway Garage to distribute free socks, shirts, toiletries and more – and to tell people about our services. Peer-led wellness and recovery center H.O.P.E. was there, as well as the Maryland Food Bank to help folks sign up for SNAP benefits. In case you missed it, here’s the flyer. More than 300 people participated, with six signing up for on-site HIV testing or PrEP/HIV prevention education, three completing SNAP applications and two more setting up SNAP appointments.
