Volunteer with us:
Individuals seeking exposure to or involvement in a community health setting are eligible to apply to be volunteers or non-credit bearing interns. These types of positions are provided entirely on a case-by-case basis and are dependent on what projects are available.
- We cannot accommodate placements for high school students.
- There are no volunteer opportunities involving direct patient care or medical procedures (for example, phlebotomy or taking vitals).
- Health Care for the Homeless does not offer full time non-clinical internships or volunteer opportunities.
- Most placements are for 5 to 15 hours per week.
